About Us

Drago’s Spring & Welding and Drago’s Auto Pro were started over 60 years ago by the late Drago Gluvic, who, over the course of his career, earned a reputation as a good and honest welder. Before his retirement in 2019, Drago chose us, Rob Guido and Maciej Kucko, to carry on his tradition of excellent, fairly priced auto service and welding in Kamloops under the Drago banner. It is an honour we do not take lightly. We continue to strive to uphold Drago’s exemplary reputation.

It hasn’t been easy. Shortly after we took over, Covid-19 created many challenges, which were followed by the passing of our dear role model, Drago, in 2021. Two years later, a fire ravaged the premises of Drago’s Spring & Welding. We closed shop for several months for renovations and repairs only to reopen in November 2023, better equipped than ever to help you with your spring, welding, and auto repair needs.
